Ken Ramirez
Founder and CEO
Ken Ramirez is an AI Specialist, Senior Technologist and trusted advisor. Ken has a bachelor’s degree in computer science. Before starting Paleotech AI, he spent three decades in the technology industry, first as a software engineer and later as a project manager, CTO, CIO, and other senior management positions at a variety of software companies, as well as co-founding a SaaS company in the healthcare space in 2019. Ken now leads Paleotech AI to design and build world-class Gen AI applications.
Ken is a father of three and grew up amidst the rugged beauty of the Adirondacks, where he developed a deep passion for the great outdoors from an early age. His love for adventure has taken him across the United States, where he’s camped under starlit skies and hiked through some of the most breathtaking landscapes this country has to offer. Whether navigating remote trails or setting up camp in the wilderness, Ken thrives on the thrill of exploration and the serenity of nature, always seeking the next great adventure.
Paul Angelino
Chief Operating Officer
Paul has spent his career leading software engineering projects across many industries, including retail point-of-sale, utilities, telecommunications, e-commerce, and environmental conservation. He also brings extensive experience from the consulting and non-profit sectors. As COO, Paul drives operational excellence at Paleotech through leading-edge agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and best-in-class operational systems. Paul also nurtures Paleotech’s exceptional culture by empowering employees to reach their full potential while prioritizing healthy work-life balance.
Outside of work, Paul loves being outdoors and especially enjoys fly fishing, hiking, camping, and tennis. He’s a staunch supporter of environmental conservation and inclusivity, and strives to make the world a better place through actions aligned with these values. Paul lives in the beautiful Front Range of Colorado with his wife and two children.
Carrie Snyder
Chief Transformation Officer
Carrie Snyder brings two decades of experience in complex cross-functional operations, sustainability strategy, and cultural transformation to her role at Paleotech. As Chief Transformation Office she leads AI Adoption & Organizational Transformation, as well as a co-creator of Paleotech’s Generative AI Literacy (GAIL) program, helping clients navigate the human dimensions of AI adoption—including employee training, behavioral change, and cognitive shifts in how people work. Her approach bridges deep technical understanding with a focus on trust, communication, and long-term alignment. Carrie’s background includes executive leadership at Cisco, consulting on circular economy strategy, and graduate-level teaching at Harvard.
Outside of Paleotech, Carrie is a bespoke bookbinder, crafting hand-bound volumes that explore themes of memory, materiality, and slowness in contrast to mass production. She’s also the founder of a research and learning consultancy focused on sustainable systems change. Carrie lives in the Pacific Northwest and draws inspiration from natural systems, interdependence, and the quiet craft of making things with care.
Stephen Howard
VP of Software Engineering
Stephen is a seasoned enterprise architect with over 25 years of experience. He has successfully delivered IT solutions across various industries, including banking, insurance, airline/travel, and government. Stephen has collaborated with notable clients such as Citi Financial, National Grid, Allegiant Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Broward County, Dell, Aflac, and many others. His expertise lies in creating customized software solutions to address critical business needs and integrating off-the-shelf products with existing enterprise systems. Stephen’s extensive experience and innovative approach make him an asset to any organization.
When Stephen is not crafting in the technology space, he enjoys working with his hands with various home renovation and other creative projects. He also enjoys working with his wife and adult children on their own entrepreneurial ventures, as well as exploring the vast biodiversity of his home state of Florida.
Zoltan Sandor
VP of Platform Engineering
Zoltan Sandor is a seasoned DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineer based in Timișoara, Romania, specializing in AWS architecture and automation. With a strong background in DevOps, he brings deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud systems that support high-growth startups and enterprise platforms alike.
Educated at QA UK, Zoltan combines technical proficiency with a commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence. His approach emphasizes efficiency, reliability, and adaptability—qualities essential for modern software delivery pipelines. Whether automating CI/CD workflows or optimizing cloud resource utilization, Zoltan ensures that infrastructure aligns seamlessly with product goals and user needs.
